Description

Experience the breathtaking beauty and rich culture of Vietnam's northern highlands on a 2-days tour of the Ha Giang Loop. Marvel at stunning mountain vistas, ride along winding roads, and immerse yourself in local life with visits to hill-tribe villages and authentic culinary experiences. This short but unforgettable journey is the perfect way to discover the true heart of Vietnam. Day 0: Hanoi - Ha Giang The tour starts with a night bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang city. You will be picked up from your hotel/hostel at 7 pm and the bus will leave Hanoi at 8:30 pm. You will arrive in Ha Giang city at 3:30 am and check-in at our hostel for a few hours of rest. Day 1: Ha Giang - Tam Son - Dong Van (155km) After getting breakfast at our hostel, we will meet up with our guide and start our journey on the loop. The Bac Sun Pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate will greet us with their stunning landscapes. We will marvel at the Quan Ba Twin Mountains and then make our way through the Can Ty Pass. The landscapes are awe-inspiring and picturesque, with lush green hills and mountains towering over us. Take a lunch break in Yen Minh Town and then continue our journey through the Tham Ma Pass. The Hmong King’s Palace is a highlight of the trip, with its grand architecture and fascinating history. We will check into a hotel in Dong Van Town and have dinner, free to walk around the ancient town afterwards. Day 2: Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Ha Giang - Hanoi We will start the day with breakfast in town and head to the Sky Pass, where the views will take our breath away. The Ma Pi Leng Pass is one of the four most beautiful passes in Vietnam and we will ride through it, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The Hmong villages along the way will give us an insight into the lives of the local people. Take a lunch break in Yen Minh Town before getting back on the road and head towards Ha Giang City. Along the way, visit Lung Tam Village, where you can learn about the ancient art of hemp weaving from the Hmong people. Arrive in Ha Giang City and finish the tour at our homestay. Take a bus back to Hanoi, where you can reminisce about the amazing experiences and memories from your Ha Giang Loop tour.

You should also be aware that the Ha Giang Loop is a long road trip that the distance around 350 kilometers over the course of 3 days. You should be prepared for long periods of riding and should bring appropriate clothing and gear for a multi-day trip

While this provides an authentic cultural experience, you should be prepared for basic amenities.
It is suggested that you bring a small bag or backpack with essential items to carry on the motorbike. Your large suitcases or non-essential items can be stored at the hostel in Ha Giang City
