Day 1: Large Mam Xoi – Small Mam Xoi – Khau Pha Pass – Tu Lệ Valley Begin your adventure in Mù Cang Chải town, where you meet your local guide and start riding toward the famous Mam Xoi Hills — the most iconic terraced rice viewpoints in the region. The first stop is Large Mam Xoi Hill, offering a panoramic view over layers of golden rice terraces curving around the mountainside. Continue to Small Mam Xoi Hill, where the perspective is closer and more intimate, perfect for capturing the beauty of local farmers working on the fields. After lunch, ride along the spectacular Khau Pha Pass, one of Vietnam’s highest and most scenic mountain passes. The winding road reveals endless mountain ranges and valleys covered in terraced fields. Stop at several viewpoints for photos before descending to Tu Lệ Valley, a peaceful area famous for its natural hot springs and local Thai villages. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a cozy local homestay, surrounded by rice fields and fresh mountain air. Day 2: Kim Nọi – Hau Đăng Dê – Corn House – Bamboo Forest – Móng Ngựa Hill After breakfast, continue your journey through Kim Nọi village, a beautiful valley dotted with traditional Hmong stilt houses and vibrant terraced fields. Then head to Hau Đăng Dê, a peaceful area where few tourists venture — perfect for taking in the quiet beauty of rural life. From there, the route takes you back toward the heart of Mù Cang Chải. Stop at the charming Corn House village, where you can interact with local families and learn about their daily routines. Continue the ride to the tranquil Bamboo Forest, walking through a cool and shaded path surrounded by tall green bamboo. Finally, visit the iconic Móng Ngựa Hill (Horseshoe Hill) — one of the most photogenic spots in Mù Cang Chải. The sweeping view of rice terraces shaped like a horseshoe is the perfect way to end your two-day adventure before returning to town in the afternoon.
