Your 2-Day Expedition Itinerary: A Journey to the Summit Day 1: Pick-up, Trekking & The Base Camp Experience Your adventure starts right in Sapa, where our knowledgeable local guide will pick you up and drive you to the Hoang Lien Son National Park trailhead. The trek immediately plunges you into a diverse ecosystem. The first leg winds through dense, lush rainforests, where the air is cool and fragrant. As you gain elevation, the scenery shifts dramatically, leading you past ancient rhododendron groves and unique high-altitude vegetation. The day culminates as we arrive at the Mountain Hut (Base Camp) (typically around 2,800m. This is a highlight of the experience: After settling in, your guide will prepare and cook dinner. The meal is heartwarming, offering a truly memorable experience of gathering and cooking in the chilly, fresh mountain air. After dinner, you'll rest overnight in the warm mountain shelter to conserve energy for the summit push. Day 2: Summit Conquest and Descent The final day begins before dawn. After an early breakfast, we tackle the final push to the summit of Fansipan 3,143m. The reward is immense: reaching the peak just after sunrise to witness a breathtaking panorama of majestic, awe-inspiring landscapes and a spectacular sea of clouds rolling over the Hoang Lien Son range. After celebrating your victory, we begin the descent, allowing you to appreciate the trails you might have missed on the ascent. Upon reaching the trailhead, transport will be waiting to take you back to Sapa.
